When our friend suggested a weekend away with a group of two other couples in cottage country in the snow, we were curious to see what there is to do at place that you typically only think of when it’s warm outside.

The peaceful view of the snow-covered land and partially frozen lake took our breath away.

We stayed with two other couples and we all had lots of room to enjoy the weekend at our own pace.

The kitchen in the manor was a magnet, that kept drawing us all back to gather around the beautiful harvest table with the fireplace keeping us cozy and warm while the conversation and fun continued.

Every couch, chair and bed were incredibly comfortable, and every nook and cranny was sparkling clean.

A weekend wasn’t long enough to explore everything this lovely property has to offer. Next time we will book a longer stay for sure!

Kelly’s place was fantastic for our group of 11. Kelly accommodated the large group with a couple of rollaway beds and provided answers to all of our questions throughout the weekend! Would absolutely stay again!

What an amazing Long Weekend at Woodview. We enjoyed both the Manor and The Lakeside Loft with friends. Loved the furnishings and antiques. There was always something to look at. The setting was beautiful amongst the trees with a gorgeous view of the lake. There was everything we needed to enjoy our time away including fully equipped kitchens and bbqs. Can’t wait to return in the summer with our boat to experience the wildlife, see the gardens and fish on the Lake. Thanks for a Great Getaway!

What a wonderful experience we had at Woodview on the Lake. Loved getting up in the morning and seeing the mist on the lake. The Lakeview Lofts were beautifully decorated and so clean. Like a mini-hotel. The great room was comfortable and we loved the fireplace. The Manor kitchen was amazing and our friends loved gathering there for a drink and conversation. Kelly is an amazing host and we will be back next summer for a vacation retreat.

8 friends and I stayed at the beautiful (Manor) cottage for a bachelorette weekend. Kelly was great, very responsive and helpful. The cottage is adorable and has everything that you would need. You share the dock and fire pit with a couple other cottages located on the property but the atmosphere was lovely. I would definitely recommend.

We had the most amazing weekend at “Woodview on the Lake”. Traveling on holidays from Australia it gave us so many special memories and only 90 minutes from Toronto, so much to do as a family or a weekend with friends, thanks for your beautiful place, wished we lived closer.
