Woodview

This gorgeous Lakeside Manor incl. breathtaking views of Julian Lake and has a fabulous great room grand piano, TV and wood stove. There are four bedrooms (sleeps eleven). As well three baths (one with whirlpool tub, one with walk-in shower and another half bath). The kitchen includes dishwasher, propane fireplace, TV and a very spacious dining area Outside you can relax on the covered porches and visit the frog pond and turtle pond while on your way to the enticing and peaceful Julian lake

The Space

The manor includes a 3 acre property on Julian Lake and is directly off Hwy 28 and is less than a two hour drive from Toronto. The towns of Lakefield and Apsley are just 20 minutes away as well as Peterborough and Bancroft both
30 minutes away.

Guest access

The entire Manor, a separate honeymoon bunkie, large fire pit, washer and dryer and propane BBQ. There is also a tavern to enjoy….sit and drink and chat with friends BYOB! Docking is available for you to bring your own boat, as well there is a canoe, 2 kayaks, paddle boat, wind surfer and fishing boat.
There is a crib available.
The dock, boats and fire pit are shared with the Lakeside Loft guests if there are any.

Other things to note

Woodview On The Lake is directly on Hwy 28, which is a real advantage when going out travelling. But do keep in mind there is traffic off of the hwy (unfortunately we can’t control the vehicles!). Once you get into ‘vacation mode’ any distractions will be gone….too busy relaxing on the dock or boating or sitting by the fire pit and just enjoying life!

The Neighbourhood

Woodview On The Lake is a very peaceful 3 acre setting situated Julian Lake. There is a golf course 1 Km away plus many outdoor activities within the area including parks, lakes, beaches and caves. Lots of restaurants and shops located in Buckhorn and Lakefield. And if you are looking for a quick bite to eat Honey’s Diner is just down the road.
